 A Indian wedding represents a marriage of two people for the rest of their lives. It is a bonding of two families and between two different communities. Weddings are celebrations of a celebration, a festival and most importantly, it is a shining event with the full spectrum of the rainbow.

In India In Mehdi, about two hundred ladies and 50 children gather during the evening. Food is provided to everyone, including the males in the house . Once the meal is done, males will be requested to go home. After that, a group of people perform traditional wedding songs starting with various songs that come with a variety of lyrics. These songs are extremely emotional and touching. It is therefore not unusual for women to be crying. The manner in which the singing is organized is crucial. A singer will lead , while the other ladies will sing the same song in a group.

The dance could last for about two hours, and then the young bride's friends will move in the background to Bollywood tunes for hours one after other. Sometime, even men will come dressed in women's saris and seated in the back. This is what makes the joy of an event like a wedding. Everyone is happy even the neighbors! Everyone is happy even if it continues until 3 am in the morning. But, if the event continues to run until the late hours, then your neighbors are the first ones to get you in trouble unless they've eaten adequately or they are in your house also!

The pleasure of weddings; joy and the true appeal of the occasion, particularly of Indian weddings, is the music. Without music, it's not an event.
